If you blinked during the keynote, you may have missed that Apple is expanding the AppleCare One subscription in the U.S. to include a Family plan. Here’s what you need to know.

During Apple’s “Surprise and Shine” event on Wednesday, the company announced they’re expanding AppleCare One for U.S. subscribers, which will allow them to extend coverage to up to six family members and all their devices.

According to Apple, “AppleCare One Family covers every eligible device for up to six people. After you sign up, easily add devices straight from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac, including most devices less than four years old and in good working condition.” Apple also mentions that “new devices are automatically added, and the price stays the same.”

AppleCare One is available now for $49.99 per month. This includes:

  • All AppleCare+ benefits, with theft and loss coverage for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.
  • Covers devices for up to six people in your Family Sharing group, including yourself.
  • Six total claims per year with Family.

If you’re interested in AppleCare One Family, you can set up Family Sharing in the Settings app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac and invite family members to join.
