Apple has finally released iOS 13.4 and iPadOS 13.4 as expected. Apple had announced today’s release date for iOS 13.4 and iPadOS 13.4 in the Pricing and Availability section of the iPad Pro (2020) Press Release. The build number for this latest update is 17E255

This new version of iOS and iPadOS brings in a ton of new features and improvements.

1. Mac and iOS App Purchases: This update along with macOS Catalina 10.15.4 will enable universal purchases for apps on iOS or iPadOS and macOS. This means that if you purchase an app on the App Store on your iPhone or iPad, you can download the same app if available on your Mac without any additional cost.  Note that the app should be available on both the platforms for this to work.

2. iCloud Folder Sharing: This feature was introduced in WWDC last year, and it allows sync of folders in iCloud between devices of all users. It took several months for Apple to implement this feature into iOS 13.

3. Trackpad: With the announcement of the Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro, Apple also introduced a new cursor experience with this update. The new cursor not only works with the Magic Keyboard, it will also work with the Magic Mouse 2 and the Magic Trackpad 2.

4. CarKey: iOS 13.4 brings in a feature called ‘CarKey’ which will help you in unlocking and driving the car through NFC on your iPhone or your Apple Watch. Note that this feature has not been activated yet and we will keep you updated on this feature.

5. Mail Toolbar: The delete icon in the toolbar of the Mail app has been shifted to prevent accidental deletion of mails.

6. Memoji Stickers: There are 9 new Memoji Stickers in iOS 13.4.

7. OS Recovery: iOS 13.4 have codes in it which suggests that your iPhone or iPad can be recovered without any computer through OS Recovery. Let’s see when Apple implements this feature. This will most probably be implemented on the next version of iOS 13.4, iOS 13.4.1.

Update to the latest version of iOS and iPadOS to receive new these features and improvements on your device.
