Apple will start reopening stores in the United States starting next week according to CNBC. Apple told CNBC that they will start reopening some of their stores in South Carolina, Alabama, Idaho and Alaska.

According to an Apple representative,

“We’re excited to begin reopening stores in the US next week, starting with some stores in Idaho, South Carolina, Alabama and Alaska,” “Our team is constantly monitoring local heath data and government guidance, and as soon as we can safely open our stores, we will.”

The Apple representative’s statements obtained by CNBC states that Apple is constantly monitoring local health data and following government’s guidance.

Apple will have safety measures in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus between the staff and customers. Apple will have temperature checks for both employees and customers, as well as face coverings for employees. Social Distancing will be maintained, as only a few people will be allowed in the store at one time.

According to Apple,

“Our new social distance protocol allows for a limited number of visitors in the store at one time so there may be a delay for walk-in customers. We recommend, where possible, customers buy online for contactless delivery or in-store pick up,”

Apple recommends customers to purchase products online as this will prevent the spread of the virus.
