COVID-19 has affected the lives of everyone around the world. Preventing spread of the virus was the only solution we had and as a part of this, Apple closed its stores across the world outside Greater China on March 13. In some regions across the world, Apple is planning to reopen it’s stores with safety measures to prevent the spread of the virus.Â
Reopening of Apple Stores was a great concern to every Apple fan. When will I get the new iPhone? When will I get the new AirPods Pro? Were some of questions people had in mind. As a solution to that, Apple is planning to reopen it’s stores with advanced safety measures. The safety protocols and reopening dates of each state of the US might differ based on local health data and security concerns.
148 out of 510 Apple Stores have been reopened worldwide already. Apple usually gives us information about the reopening date 2-3 prior to the actual date. On May 20 and 21, 12 Apple stores have reopened in Canada. In Italy 10 of 12 has reopened already. When it comes to US, the local guidelines are the guiding factor which decides if an Apple Store is going to reopen or not. As per the current information only 32 of 271 are going to reopen in the US.
Apple has notified its customers with an open letter about the safety measures which had to be followed and they encourage customers to continue shopping at their online stores. And for those who are stuck at home, Apple’s Today at Apple at Home helps to boost the creativity and charm of the day.
