With Apple’s new credit card, Apple Card, it has enabled the company to give its customers another option to pay for its products.

So far, we have seen customers get interest-free payments when buying a new iPhone, with those payment plans lasting 24 months.

Now the plan is to allow for customers to get a monthly installment plan when purchasing new products such as a Mac, iPad, HomePod and other products.

Bloomberg has reported that Apple will be offering Apple Card users a 12-month interest-free payment plan on products.

A move like this also shows how Apple is trying to get more people to sign up for the Apple Card.

Even just this week, it was announced that there is a new partnership between Apple and Walgreens where if a new Apple Card user spends $50 or more at Walgreens with their Apple Card, they will get $50 in Daily Cash just for doing that.

Purchases made with the Apple Card at the brick-and-mortar or online Apple Store (not with the physical card) do get three percent in Daily Cash, as to get customers to spend their money at Apple and not through competitors such as Best Buy, Target or Staples.

All payments for Apple Card are done in the Wallet app of the iPhone and iPad. Users can track their spending habits and make payments on their card right from the app with Touch ID or Face ID authentication.

There is currently no timeline when something like this would be announced and unveiled to the public, but with WWDC 2020 almost a couple weeks away, we could hear more about this.
