This has been a big week for streaming news, especially if you’re an NFL fan with a YouTube TV subscription.

However, the cooler weather has started to come in some parts of the country, signaling that we could have an early fall. Of course, we here at Appleosophy just find that as another reason to binge-watch our favorite TV shows, movies and sporting events.

TV:

  • “A.P. Bio” (Season 3): This TV series has an interesting history with NBC, as it was originally canceled after two seasons by the network in May 2019, but was brought back for season three since it is now a Peacock Original. Speaking of which, the third season is now available to stream on Peacock.

  • Transformers: Cyberverse (Season 2): The second season of this TV series can be streamed on Netflix on Monday, September 7.

  • “Doogie Howser, M.D.”: If you’re wondering where Neil Patrick Harris got his start, now you’ll find out what launched his successful career. The entire series can be streamed on Hulu.

Movies:

  • “Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life”: This could be a good movie for those who just started middle school this year or perhaps those who have just gotten out of it. The film is currently available to stream on Hulu.

  • “For Richer or Poorer”: Peacock is the place to go for this film starring Tim Allen and Kirstie Alley. It is available on the free and premium versions of Peacock.

  • “Mulan” (2020): If you’re up for spending $29.99 today on the new “Mulan” movie, then you can do so by streaming it for that price on Disney+. Also, you can rent the movie through the Disney+ app but pay for through it with an in-app purchase via Apple.

Sports:

  • Houston Texans vs. Kansas City Chiefs (NFL): Although COVID-19 has put a damper on other sports like the NBA and MLB seasons, the NFL is still planning on having a full regular season this year. This game will be played at 8:20 p.m. ET, Thursday, September 10, on NBC.

  • Cook Out Southern 500 (NASCAR Cup Series): Hopefully you are a fan of Sunday night NASCAR races. Due to Labor Day Weekend and most Americans having the day off on Monday, this allows for NASCAR to have its race on Sunday evening. It will be raced at 6 p.m. ET, Sunday, September 6, on NBCSN.

  • BYU vs. Navy (College Football): While a lot of the other colleges are not playing due to COVID-19 this season, these two teams are going to give it a try, and what better way to do than on Labor Day Weekend. The game will be played at 8 p.m. ET, Monday, September 7, on ESPN.
