Latercase has listed the iPhone 12 Series, namely the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Plus, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max on its section for “Apple Cases” and “Apple Screen Protectors”
iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Plus, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max have been clearly mentioned under Apple Cases on the Latercase website. These cases cost $45 discounted to $39 and they feature a matte finish and have been laser cut to perfection. The cases are 0.6 mm thin, and have support for Wireless Charging. As seen on these images, the Camera Lens are now larger than the current iPhone 11 Series, but there is no cutout/hole for the LiDAR Sensor for the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
According to Latercase, “Pre-orders are expected to ship this fall.”
We have been hearing several rumors about the naming of the 2020 iPhones, some of them being:
- iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Max, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max
- iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max
The naming “iPhone 12 Plus” does not match with the current leaks & rumors, although there’s a possibility that Apple may use this naming for the 6.1-inch non-Pro Variant. The cheaper end iPhone models are rumored to have a 5.4-inch and a 6.1-inch Display, and the Pro models are rumored to have a 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch Display.
Screen Protectors for the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Plus, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max have also been listed by Latercase. These Gorilla Glass screen protectors cost $25, discounted to $19 and they are 0.45mm thin with an Oleophobic coating.
Apple is rumored to hold an Apple Event in October for announcing the brand new 2020 iPhones, and the final naming will be announced. Apple will also probably the new Mac with Apple Silicon and an iPad Pro upgrade. Let’s hope for the best.
A similar leak took place in June, where T-Mobile had leaked the existence of 2020 iPhones and its accessories. Read more about it here.
