Apple’s new iPhone 12 series, is the first major re-design following the introduction of the iPhone X in 2017. Featuring a square, flat design, which includes a new addition discovered by Jesper Van Haaren on Twitter. Featured on the side of iPhone 12 Models are the EU regulatory CE markings.

Similar to devices in the United States requiring FCC approval, in Europe, manufacturers who intend to sell their products in Europe are required to undergo testing, with an engraving to confirm it complies with Europe’s health, safety, and environmental protection standards.

Apple appears to have kept the engravings hidden from customers in marketing images, with the reference only being found in on the MagSafe page.

Apple’s iPhone 12 features an all-new design, 4 new models, an A14 Bionic Chip, MagSafe, and thinner bezels. Apple’s new iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro are currently available for Pre-Order with the iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 12 Mini to follow on the 7th of November.
