A new update from the developers of CARROT Weather has brought Full-Screen Mode to its iPadOS app.
This means that the weather and weather conditions from the iPad version of the app can be viewed in full screen, whereas previously, there was a tab on the side that would enable you to change the location of where you wanted to view your weather conditions.
The update was released yesterday in Version 5.0.6.
CARROT Weather 5.0.6 is out now, meatbags! Full-screen mode for iPad, in-line weather details for the Chronos preset, new secret locations, and a bunch of little bug fixes and improvements. For those who turn on Full-Screen Mode in the app and want to go back to their previous weather interface, all they have to do is go into Settings in the CARROT Weather app, tap on the Customization tab and choose which look they want for the look on the iPad app.
In the photo below, you can see what Full-Screen Mode looks like on my personal 9.7-inch iPad fifth generation.
This update comes just weeks after the app was redesigned from the ground up. It was referred to as “CARROT Weather 5.0.” You can read our review of CARROT Weather 5.0 as well.
CARROT Weather is available on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV and Mac.
