New renders of the rumored iPad mini 6 have surfaced on the web by Apple leaker Jon Prosser, and new features are coming.
According to Prosser, the new iPad mini will feature thinner bezels with no home button, and Touch ID will be relocated to the power button.
The device will also feature “dramatically improved” speakers and USB-C will replace the current lightning port.
The report notes that the iPad dimensions are 206.3mm x 137.8mm x 6.1mm, but the display size is still unknown.
According to another report by Naver, the device will sport an 8.7-inch screen.
iPad mini 6 will also be powered by the A14 chip, support 5G, and the newest Apple Pencil. The device will be available “by the end of the year” and have three colors: gold, black, and silver.
On his newly revamped Front Page Tech website, Prosser says that the renders are based on CAD and real images of the product.
iPad mini 6 has been rumored to be re-branded as “iPad Mini Pro”, by having a small “mini” display but “pro” features like an all-screen display.
