Today is the day that Apple has decided to give the iPhone 12 a little more power.

This morning, Apple released the all-new MagSafe Battery Pack for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro.

The battery pack would stick on the iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro with its MagSafe charger and act as an additional battery if the user did not have a place or time to stay and charge their iPhone in a spot like a charge station at a mall or airport.

Here is how Apple describes the new battery packs:

“Attaching the MagSafe Battery Pack is a snap. Its compact, intuitive design makes on-the-go charging easy. The perfectly aligned magnets keep it attached to your iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro ”” providing safe and reliable wireless charging. And it automatically charges, so there’s no need to turn it on or off. There’s no interference with your credit cards or key fobs either.

At your desk and need a charge? Just plug a Lightning cable into the MagSafe Battery Pack for up to 15W of wireless charging. Short on time? With a higher than 20W power adapter, you can charge both the MagSafe Battery Pack and your iPhone even faster. And you can track the status of your charge on the Lock Screen.”

The new iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro MagSafe Battery Pack costs $99 and is available for ordering today, with the current delivery time set between July 23-27.

Additionally, the new battery packs will require the user to be on iOS 14.7 or later to use it.
