Just like that, the tech world might have just solved another major problem when it comes to working from home and working with others in the office.
As of today, it was reported by The Verge that Microsoft Teams now has support for being used on Apple CarPlay, which is Apple’s very own dashboard in vehicles.
Users of Microsoft Teams are now able to tell Siri to join a Teams call and be able to do it hands-free too. When the user gets into the call, they will only be able to hear the audio from the call and not the video so the driver does not get distracted.
Microsoft Teams is the first service to do this, as other popular conferencing software and apps like Zoom and Skype have yet to add this feature.
This feature could be good for both businesses and those who are accessing classes from Microsoft Teams as well.
It is also not the first time we have seen new apps added with CarPlay this year. So far, we have seen both the Dunkin’ and Sportsnet apps get functionality for it.
