In a press release today, Apple announced that the new colors of the HomePod mini are available to order in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. HomePod is receiving new colors including yellow, orange, and blue. The Siri-powered speaker will also be available for pickup in select Apple Stores in the U.S and Canada.
The Cupertino-based giant first announced the new colors during last month’s Unleashed event when AirPods 3 and the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros were unveiled.
Here’s what Apple states regarding the minimized HomePod speaker:
“At just 3.3 inches tall, HomePod mini is packed with innovation to deliver unexpectedly big sound for a speaker of its size. Using computational audio to provide a rich and detailed acoustic experience and deliver peak performance, HomePod mini fills the room with rich 360-degree audio that sounds great from every angle. With multiple HomePod mini speakers, users can play the same music throughout the house, a different song in every room, or create a stereo pair for an even more immersive experience.”
Apple also notes that customers in China, Hong Kong, Japan, and Taiwan will be able to order HomePod mini at 6 p.m. PDT today ”“ While customers in Australia, Austria, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Spain, and the United Kingdom will be able to order the Siri-powered speaker “later this month”.
You can order HomePod mini in space grey, white, yellow, orange, or blue at apple.com or in select Apple Stores for $99.00.
