Apple has finished its “Unleashed” event, which turned out to focus not only on the Mac, but also on music. Out of nowhere, one of the Music announcements was that Apple has announced new colors for the HomePod mini.

The company initially launched HomePod mini in both white and space gray in October of last year, and it has become a huge success compared to the original HomePod thanks to its much more affordable price point. Because it has performed better in sales, Apple has discontinued the original HomePod in March.

For years, Apple has had offered colors for its music products, including the AirPods Max as well as the iPod touch (yes, Apple continues to sell those apparently). Because other popular competitors offer different colors for their smart speakers such as the Google Nest Mini, the wide acclaim of the HomePod mini gives Apple the opportunity to reach even more customers by offering the smart speaker in three new colors – blue, orange, and yellow.

With more colors to choose from, you can select any HomePod mini to fit your personal style. All of the new colors will be available at the same starting price of $99, and will be available as early as November.

What do you think of the new colors for the HomePod mini. Let us know in the comments below. Follow us on Twitter or Instagram. Also – make sure to subscribe to our new video podcast on YouTube!
