Apple is rumored to launch its affordable 27-inch ‘Studio Display’ tomorrow at the “Peek Performance” event. YouTuber Luke Miani leaked the renders and a few bits of information through this video. He collaborated with render artist Ian Zelbo to create these fantastic renders of the upcoming display.
Miani said in the video that the display will most probably be named ‘Studio Display’ and would have slightly thicker bezels than Apple’s current Pro Display XDR. He added that there would be no pattern/holes at the back because it would lack mini-LEDs. Thus, heavy cooling is not required here, unlike Pro Display XDR. He also shared the renders of a green-colored iPhone 13 and a purple iPad Air 5.
He guessed a price of $1000 for this display which is much more affordable than the Pro Display XDR, which costs around $6000. The stand is expected to be the same as the 24-inch iMac. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also predicted that Apple would release a more affordable 21-inch external display without mini-LED this year.
