4K streaming is becoming more popular, and with the release of the new Apple TV 4K, users of the newest one and versions of the Apple TV 4K will soon have another piece of content to watch in the best picture quality possible.
It has been confirmed now that the 2022 FIFA World Cup will be broadcast this year in 4K resolution. The games are set to begin on Sunday, November 20, and all of the games will be broadcast on FOX and FS1.
FOX has said that all of the games it broadcasts will be shot with 4K cameras.
The way to stream these games in 4K on the Apple TV will be through the FOX Sports app. The user will have to sign in with their TV provider credentials, but as long as FOX and/or FS1 are in their channel lineup, they should be able to stream the games from there and in 4K.
Other methods include the FOX 4K channel on fuboTV and YouTube TV.
Please note that all of the FOX broadcasted games will be commentated in English, but for Spanish commentary, that will be on Peacock but will not be available in 4K.
Apple’s newest Apple TV 4K starts at $129 for 64GB and 128GB version with an Ethernet port is available for $149.
FOX Sports this year has also shown select college football games and the more recent 2022 MLB World Series in 4K too.

I am so sick and tired of having to pay to watch games in my devices. They are games that are free to watch over the air with an antena, but to watch them online you must pay. That is lousy and should be illegal. Anything that is free to watch over the air should be free online. The government really needs to do something about, because this is pretty much a monopoly that Fox and Telemundo have going on.
