Parents and children can both get excited about this news!

As of last week, Hulu with Live TV has added both local PBS stations and the PBS Kids channel to its lineup. Previously, PBS was only available on YouTube TV and through the PBS app.

Hulu added Magnolia Network to its lineup last week too.

By adding PBS and PBS Kids to its lineup of channels, it gives adults and children even more opportunities to stream their favorite programming from those channels.

Reagan Feeney, senior vice president of live TV content programming and partnerships for Hulu, said these are channels the company has wanted to add for a while.

“PBS, PBS Kids and Magnolia Network are among the most frequently requested channels by our subscribers and we’re thrilled to add them to our core line-up that now includes more than 90 live channels.”

Where this could be interesting is if Apple does decide to air some of the classic Charlie Brown “Peanuts” holiday specials later this year on PBS, which is something it did in both 2020 and 2021, but did not do in 2022. Now that Hulu with Live TV subscribers have access to their local PBS station, if Apple were to air those specials again on PBS, Hulu with Live TV users would be able to stream them live.

Hulu with Live TV currently costs $69.99 a month and is available to stream on the iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Mac.
