It’s Memorial Day Weekend this weekend and that means it is one of the biggest weekends in all of sports.
With that said, the 2023 Indy 500 will be at 11 a.m. ET on Sunday, May 28, broadcasting live on NBC and streaming live on Peacock.
Those that are going to be looking to stream it live have multiple options.
When it comes to watching it on NBC, the person will have to have a live TV streaming service like YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, or fuboTV that get their local NBC station through that.
However, the most affordable option will be through Peacock. Users will be required to have Peacock Premium which costs $4.99 a month. Sadly, Peacock does not have free trials anymore, but this option is still pretty affordable.
There is the looming question of those in Indiana, the state where the race is held, and which parts of the state will be able to watch the race live.
Essentially, those that live in Indianapolis will not be able to watch the race live on TV and it will be blacked out there on both their local NBC station (WTHR) and Peacock, according to the Indy Star.
Here are the areas and TV markets that will be able to stream the race live from their local NBC station and Peacock:
- Evansville: WFIE 14
- Fort Wayne: Â WPTA-DT2 21.2
- South Bend: Â WNDU-TV 16
- Terre Haute: WTWO 2
All of the streaming services listed above are available to stream on the iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Mac.
