This weekend is going to be a major one for Apple TV 4K users when it comes to streaming college football.
Here are the four games:
- 12 p.m. ET: Indiana vs. Michigan – FOX
- 12 p.m. ET: Ohio State vs. Purdue – PeacockÂ
- 4 p.m. ET: Iowa vs. Wisconsin – FOX
- 7:30 p.m. ET: Miami vs. North Carolina – ESPN
The way to stream these games in 4K on FOX is through two methods.
Our first method will be through the YouTube TV and fuboTV live TV streaming services. Both of them offer the FOX 4K channels which will be showing the 4K through the 4K feed. YouTube TV users will need the 4K add-on with the service which costs an additional $9.99 a month.
The most convenient way to get access to the 4K stream will be through the tvOS FOX Sports app. All the user will have to do is sign in with their TV provider to the app and as long as your TV plan has FOX as a channel on it, you will be able to stream the game from the app and view it in 4K on their Apple TV 4K.
According to TVAnswersman.com, Peacock will be broadcasting its one exclusive game that day. The second game that will also be on NBC that night between Michigan State and Iowa will not be broadcast in 4K.
For streaming the Peacock game, it’s pretty simple. All the user has to do is download and install the Peacock app on their Apple TV 4K if they do not have it on there already. Once you sign into the app and find the game, click “play” and you’ll be able to stream the game live in 4K.
When it comes to streaming the 4K game on ESPN, that will only be available to stream through designated 4K channels on DirecTV Stream and YouTube TV.
