It was reported earlier this year that by the end of 2023, we would begin to see Hulu and content from that streaming service be combined with Disney+
We are now currently seeing that between the two streaming service. It looks as though content from both Hulu and Disney+ are being merged into the Disney+ app. This would make that app the one-stop place for content on both Disney+ and Hulu.
Right now, it looks as though Hulu showing up on the Disney+ is only available to those that are subscribed to the Disney+ bundle that includes Hulu or the ad-free Hulu bundle that includes ad-free Disney+.
When tapping on the Hulu icon, also known as the “Hulu Hub,” it will show all of the content that is currently on Hulu such as TV shows like “Last Man Standing,” “Abbott Elementary,” “Rick & Morty,” and others, along with movies like “Palm Springs,” “Rise of the Planet of the Apes,” and many more.
One aspect of the merging you might have noticed is Hulu on Disney+ does not have all of the content from Hulu on it. This would include shows like “Modern Family” and “Love Island” due to licensing rights issues, as noted by Variety.
There will still be the separate apps for Hulu and Disney+ just because some people will only have Hulu or only have Disney+. For the users that have it bundled together, Disney+ can be the one home for almost all of the content on both streaming services.
If you are looking to subscribe to this bundle with Disney+ and Hulu, feel free to visit this website.
Hulu and Disney+ are available to stream on the iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Mac.
