Barnes & Noble is one of the most prominent bookseller retailers in the U.S.
The company has accepted Apple Pay for a while now but has only done so inside its stores and not online. Other bookseller retailers such as ThriftBooks and PangoBooks currently do accept Apple Pay as a payment method online.
However, it has been discovered that there is actually a way to pay with Apple Pay when making an online order.
The way to do this will be through the Barnes & Noble website, where you can go to place an order for store pickup and then decide to “Pay Later in Store” when you go to retrieve your order.
The same can be done in the Barnes & Noble app as of March 4, 2024.
When placing the order online, the customer will be required to add their name and email address so the purchase can go through and the store can shop it, as well as notify the customer once it is available to pickup.
Those that pay with Apple Card from their iPhone or Apple Watch will get 2% in Daily Cash on each purchase they make.
