With Apple releasing iOS 17.4 this week, it means that users that already have their digital Apple Cash card set up on their iPhones can now get the card number on it.
By getting the card number on the Apple Cash card, it would mean users could spend their Apple Cash at places that don’t accept Apple Pay such as Amazon and Walmart online.
How do you find the Apple Card virtual card number? Let’s explain.
First of all, open the Wallet app where you will see a pop-up message that says the following:
Set Up Virtual Card Number
Keep your card information safe with a new security code for every transaction.
Easily access this card number in Safari AutoFill and use it to shop online where Apple Pay is not available.
From there, follow these instructions:
- Tap on the circle with the three dots on in the top-right corner
- Select “Card Number”
- Verify with Face ID or Touch ID
- The app will then open and show your Virtual Card Number, as well as the expiration date of the card and its security code
If there comes a time where the Apple Cash card number is compromised, you can hit the blue “Request New Card Number” button right from the same area and get that fixed.
