Apple has started rolling out visionOS 2.3.2 to the public with bug fixes and important security fixes for the Apple Vision Pro. This update comes a month after the release of visionOS 2.3.1 which also debuted with improvements. Apple keeps refining the software experience with every 2.x.x update whilst also fixing security issues.
According to the Release Notes:
“This update provides important bug fixes, security updates, and addresses an issue that may prevent playback of some streaming content. For information on the security content of Apple software updates, please visit this website: https://support.apple.com/100100”
visionOS 2.3.2 includes a fix to one security flaw, according to Apple.
“WebKit:
Impact: Maliciously crafted web content may be able to break out of Web Content sandbox. This is a supplementary fix for an attack that was blocked in iOS 17.2. (Apple is aware of a report that this issue may have been exploited in an extremely sophisticated attack against specific targeted individuals on versions of iOS before iOS 17.2.)
Description: An out-of-bounds write issue was addressed with improved checks to prevent unauthorized actions.
