Apple has officially expanded its AppleCare+ coverage options, finally bringing the much-anticipated Theft and Loss protection to India. Alongside this major addition, the company has introduced flexible payment structures. If you’ve been worried about losing your Apple device or simply wanted more manageable payment options, this update is a game-changer.

For the first time in India, AppleCare+ for iPhone now includes coverage for up to two incidents of theft or loss every year. This new tier of protection offers peace of mind for those carrying the latest iPhone models, ensuring you aren’t left stranded if your device goes missing. It is important to note that to avail of this coverage, you must have “Find My” activated on your device at all times, in case the device is lost or stolen, as well as throughout the claims process.

In addition to the expanded coverage, Apple has revamped how you pay for these plans. Users can now choose between new monthly and annual subscription options, replacing the strict upfront payment model of the past. Plans for AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss start at just INR 799 per month, allowing you to keep your coverage active for as long as you need it.

Of course, these new plans still include all the core benefits that make AppleCare+ essential. You continue to get unlimited repairs for accidental damage, 24/7 priority access to Apple experts, and battery service if your battery health drops below 80%. All repairs are conducted by Apple-certified technicians using genuine parts.

These new coverage options are available immediately as you may view available plans and subscribe directly through the Settings app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. If you have recently bought a new device, you typically have a limited window to add AppleCare+, so don’t wait too long to secure your new device.
