In a move that promises to redefine how we experience sports, Real Madrid and Apple have joined forces. As exclusively reported by GQ España, Apple’s VP of Services, Eddy Cue, recently joined Real Madrid President Florentino Pérez at the Santiago Bernabéu to unveil the partnership.

The headline feature of this collaboration is a groundbreaking immersive documentary created exclusively for the Apple Vision Pro. Scheduled to premiere next year, this isn’t your standard behind-the-scenes vlog. It is a high-tech production designed to place fans directly inside the most decorated club in the world.

Filmed using over thirty Blackmagic cameras specifically designed to capture depth and spatial presence, the documentary focuses on the 2025/26 Champions League match between Real Madrid and Juventus. The content aims to make viewers feel the roar of the stadium and the tension in the players’ tunnel as if they were physically standing on the pitch.

Florentino Pérez describes this initiative as the “Infinite Bernabéu.” It is a vision he has pursued for years: using technology to break down physical barriers. He believes that the internet was essentially invented for Real Madrid, allowing the club to connect with its one billion fans globally without intermediaries. “I call it the Infinite Bernabéu, a place where anyone, from their own home, can experience a live match with a sense of presence and emotion that was previously impossible,” said Florentino Pérez

Pérez draws a parallel between his club’s philosophy and Steve Jobs’ obsession with creating products that are extraordinary to use. For Real Madrid, the economic impact is secondary to the goal of offering a superior fan experience.

Apple is already enhancing the matchday experience today through Apple Wallet. The integration has become the “invisible thread” for fans attending matches at the Bernabéu. It supports the entire journey, from riding public transit to entering the stadium with a simple tap of an iPhone. As Eddy Cue explains, the goal is for the technology to disappear, leaving behind a cleaner, faster, and more secure experience that replaces the physical wallet entirely.

Eddy Cue reflected on the company’s journey, citing milestones like Friday Night Baseball and the transformation of soccer in the US through the MLS deal. He even noted that this year, footage from the iPhone 17 Pro was integrated directly into professional broadcasts for the first time.
