Alongside new software updates released today, Apple also rolled out an update to the Apple Developer App with a new Liquid Glass look ahead of WWDC 2026, taking place next month.
According to Apple, version 11.0 includes the following changes:
• Refreshed look with Liquid Glass.
• List filtering by Unwatched, Bookmarked, and Downloaded, and preferred topics.
• Improved reliability of image capture during enrollment.
• Bug fixes and various other enhancements.
Beyond what’s mentioned in the release notes, the update also includes new animated stickers for iMessage, matching the themes of WWDC 2026 and Apple’s 50th anniversary.
The new update also comes with a new app logo, which reflects the new Liquid Glass design, forming the letter ‘A’ with three new elements, including a ruler, a pencil, and a paintbrush.
Notably, the new logo removes the small “Designed by Apple in California” text from the previous logo, which was a standard ‘A’, similar to the App Store icon.
WWDC 2026 is set to commence on Monday, June 8th, with the main event taking place on the first day and will be followed by developer events and programs till Friday, June 12th.
In the primary keynote taking place on June 8th at 10 a.m. Pacific Time, Apple is expected to announce the next iteration of its software platforms, such as iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, watchOS 27, tvOS 27, and visionOS 27.
