Apple has started rolling out macOS Tahoe 26.6.1 to the public, with the new build number being 25G76. This update comes 1.5 weeks after the release of macOS Tahoe 26.6 to the public, which included bug fixes and started preparing your Mac for macOS 27 with Spotlight Search indexing.
According to Apple’s Release Notes, “This update provides security fixes for your Mac.

The update particularly fixes a security issue where “an attacker on the network may be able to authenticate to Screen Sharing without valid credentials”
As expected, macOS 26.6.1 does not include any new notable features or any new Apple Intelligence features. We can expect the new Siri AI features only with the release of macOS 27, iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and more, which are set to debut next month.
Along with macOS Tahoe 26.6.1, Apple has also released macOS Sequoia 15.7.9 and macOS Sonoma 14.8.9 for users running older macOS versions with the same security fix.
