Apple today announced the long-awaited foldable, the iPhone Duo, at its “Surprise and shine” event, alongside the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, AirPods 5, Apple Watch Series 12, and Ultra 4. The foldable has a 7.6-inch inner display with an under-display FaceTime camera for the first time ever on the iPhone, and a 5.4-inch outer display with a hole-punch camera cutout on the top-right corner.

The iPhone Duo will be available from October 23rd, with pre-orders beginning on October 16th at 5 a.m., and Apple has mentioned that it will launch with iOS 27.1 instead of iOS 27.0. This indicates that we might see the release of iOS 27.1 along with other software before October 23rd, likely a week before.

The iPhone 18 Pro, on the other hand, is going to be available on September 25th and will run iOS 27.0 at launch. iOS 27.0 debuts on September 14th and will be available on all devices that support iOS 26, including the iPhone 11.

In terms of pricing, the iPhone Duo starts at $1,999 for 256GB, $2,199 for 512GB, $2,599 for 1TB, and $3,199 for 2TB. It comes in two different finishes: Star White and Night Sky.
