LG announced that it’s first 2019 OLED TVs with AI ThinQ will be released next month and it will have integrated AirPlay 2 and HomeKit. All other 2019 LG TVs will also include integrated AirPlay 2 and HomeKit.

The first models that are going to be available are the 65-inch E9 and C9. Other screen sizes and models will release in May or June this year.

The 2019 LG lineup will vary in screen sizes from 55-inch to 77-inch. The 55-inch will be the most affordable with the price starting at $2,499.

With the integrated AirPlay 2 support, LG TV users can beam photos, videos and music to their LG TV from any iPhone, iPad and Mac. It’s almost the same as with the Apple TV.

HomeKit on the other hand will let users control their TVs with Siri voice commands or by using the Home app on their iOS/macOS device. All these features are expected to be enabled through a mid-year upgrade.
