It was announced yesterday that DirecTV, who is owned by AT&T, had reached an agreement with Viacom in order to keep the channels on their service. These channels include popular ones such as Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, Teen Nick, MTV and VH1.

This also means that in addition to their satellite TV service, the channels will also still be available on the company’s live TV streaming service, DirecTV NOW, too.
Viacom’s stock went up five percent in early trading in the stock market on Monday too, according to the USA Today.
