In a press release today, Apple-owned company, Beats by Dre unveiled their latest earphones and they are ‘totally wireless’. The release follows after ads for the Powerbeats Pro were spotted earlier today in Hollywood before the official announcement by Beats.
Powerbeats Pro will include support for ‘Hey Siri’ and it will have Apple’s new H1 chip that is found on the 2nd Gen of AirPods. With the new Beats, you get up to 9 hours of listening time (4 hours more than AirPods) and up to 24 hours with the charging case. The charging case charges with a Lightning cable instead of the outdated micro-USB.
Just like the AirPods, Powerbeats Pro will also pair immediately with your Apple devices and automatically sync with iCloud. They can also pair manually with your Android device. The Powerbeats Pro will be available in Ivory, Black, Moss, and Navy and will cost $249.95 when it launches in May.
