It has been 19 years since the XFL last had a full season…or any other season at all. 2020 is the year where the league is returning with a brand new look and making football available during the part of the year where there is no college football or NFL going on. This season will also come during a time when the Arena Football League (AFL) is gone this spring too.
In this new league, there are eight teams and that each week, there will be four games between the eight teams in the league.
Just so you know, the games this year for the XFL will be broadcasted on ESPN, ESPN 2, ABC, FOX, FS1 and FS2. Here is how you can stream those networks:
The best way to stream the games is going to be through a live TV streaming service. However, the best two that we are going to recommend are VidGo and Sling TV. VidGo costs $39.99 a month and includes all of the ESPN and FOX Sports networks (FS1 and FS2, not FSN stations). Sling TV costs $30 a month for either the Sling Orange (ESPN networks) and Sling Blue (FOX Sports networks). You can get the combined Sling Orange + Blue package that will cost $45 a month that will include all of the ESPN and FOX Sports networks
Others that you can use will be Hulu with Live TV, YouTube TV and fuboTV. All of those streaming services should have all of the networks outside of ABC. YouTube TV and Hulu with Live TV will be good places to get your local ABC affiliate.
Other ways to stream the games that are on ESPN will be through the ESPN app, where if you sign in with your TV provider (works for cable, satellite and live TV streaming customers), you can stream the games that are on ESPN, ESPN 2 or ABC. ESPN 3 will be another place to look into for watching the games too.
For games that are on FOX Sports, the alternative way to stream those will be on the FOX NOW app. That will only work if the game is on the FOX network. In actuality, the best way to stream the games that are on FOX Sports will be through the FOX Sports GO app. This will enable you to watch the games that are broadcasted on FOX, FS1 or FS2. Of course, you will have to sign in with your TV provider and if your package does not have FS1 or FS2, you will not be able to stream games that are on there through either the FOX NOW or FOX Sports GO apps.
