Apple is lowering its App Store commission in Taiwan from 30% to 26% starting October 31, after talks with the Taiwan Fair Trade Commission, the company told developers on Thursday. The lower rate covers standard In-App Purchase and paid app transactions on iOS and iPadOS, and it applies automatically without developers having to accept a revised Developer Program License Agreement. It’s the latest App Store change Apple has made under pressure from regulators outside the US.
