Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max are off to a mixed start, with global sales up 3.1% over their first three weeks compared with last year’s Pro models, according to Counterpoint Research. China drove most of that growth with a 29% jump, helped by better early supply and price hikes on rival Android flagships. Sales fell in the U.S. and Japan, where higher prices weighed on demand, and in Japan exchange rates made the increases sting even more.
