Apple’s AirPort Products Begins To “Sell Out” On A Global Scale

A few weeks ago, Apple officially announced that it will not longer enter the wireless router market. As of now, its AirPort base station products have shown signs of “sold out” on a global scale, suggesting that it is about to withdraw from the Apple history.

Current state of affairs:

Currently, AirPort Extreme has already sold out at the online store in the United States, and unavailable for in-store pickup. There are only a few stocks in a few countries, such as Australia, Canada, Japan and Singapore. In China, only AirPort Express can be purchased right now, and other AirPort Extreme and AirPort Time Capsules were also sold out.

In addition, Apple.com in some European countries, such as France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom, where users unable to purchase AirPort product lineups.

Even though AirPort wireless base station products will soon be vanished from the market, Apple, However, will continue to providing services for existing base stations. In addition, Apple recently updated a support page to guide users on how to select other vendors’ wireless router products, like the Linksys Velop mesh system.
