BJ’s Wholesale Club App Now Accepting Apple Pay

Avatar for David Becker

As of today, the BJ’s Wholesale Club app is now accepting Apple Pay. This is the first time the app has ever supported Apple Pay, even though their retail stores have been supporting it for a while.

The version of the app that came out was Version 3.0 that reads the following:

“We made significant improvements to the cart and checkout process including the ability to use Apple Pay. Shopping with your BJ’s Wholesale app just got a whole lot easier! Our enhancements will enable you to quickly discover thousands of great products and deals every day and you can be assured that BJ’s will offer the most value for your needs.”

BJ’s is a store just like Sam’s Club or Costco where instead of buying single items that you would normally buy at Target or Walmart, at BJ’s you buy in bulk. In order to make a purchase from them and their stores, you must have a membership. Currently, it’s only $50 for an Inner Circle BJ’s membership.

In order to shop at BJ’s without a membership, consumers can get a One-Day Shopping Pass in their retail stores, but will not be able to make any purchases online or in their app.
