Appleosophy has picked up exclusive new details about the rumored Apple Smart Battery Case for the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.

Images obtained by Appleosophy show what appears to be a black Apple Smart Battery Case, alongside featured cases on an “Apple Premium Reseller Accessory Merchandising Guidelines” document, intended for Apple Employees showcasing the case designs on the “wall”, like in the Apple Stores.

The document is marked for “Fall 2018”, and also shows the Winter Case Designs that were recently released for the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max models, so we should see a release of the new Apple Smart Battery Case later this year, before 2019 starts.

At the moment, there have been no Smart Battery Cases for iPhone X or iPhone XS, leaving some users being disappointed because their iPhone dies before the end of the day. Combine Apple’s high-level integration of iOS within this product, it’s a sure win for customers.

At first, this document does not seem very exciting, however, look closer and we can see details that match Apple’s past Smart Battery cases, like those of iPhone 6s, and iPhone 7, with the “bump” at the top. This exclusive image obtained by Appleosophy show the case, as the “Natural case” lineup in Black. It does not appear that a white color will be available for sale. Since fall in the US ends in late December, we should see a release soon.

This image shows similar leaks from ones we’ve seen from watchOS 5.1.2 and iOS 12.1.1, which depicted a similar icon.
