Magazines now available on Apple News
Apple today announced the new Apple News Subscription service. Apple started off by priding themselves with their hand picked articles, and how over 5 billion articles are read every month, making it the #1 News App!
Apple talked about how Magazines are now available through the new Apple News Plus. They showed off the “power of journalism and its cultural impact” in their video during the event.
Apple News+ will offer more than 300 magazines covering health, fitness, travel, etc. Apple claims Apple News+ will be the only place where everything will be available in one place.
Pricing
Apple News+ costs $9.99 per month, and you can share the subscription using Family Sharing for no additional cost!
Apple News+ Cool Features
One of the coolest features in Apple News+ is the Live Cover. The cover image makes “jumping into an issue more exciting.” Apple News+ also takes the Magazine design further using animations and custom design languages that the publishers can pick!
You can swipe left and right through articles, and the News+ home is where browsing and suggestions will be made.
Similiar to Apple News, Apple News+ featured articles will be hand-picked and curated by Apple editors.
Apple also showed off the fact that the “L.A Times” and “The Wall Street Journal” will be available in Apple News+. In addition, Apple mentioned how secure and private the service is by not allowing advertisement tracking and on device intelligence for suggestions.
Apple News+ also is now available along with Apple News in Canada, with U.K and Australia coming soon.
