Apple currently sells many programs that thousands of professionals use across the world, including Final Cut Pro, Logic X and Motion. These programs alone cost triple-figures, so it’s understandable to look for something different, not made by Apple.

However, if you are a student, there’s a way that you can get the whole bundle of applications for a cheaper price. Apple’s Education website is offering full versions of each program for a total of £199.99 – a shockingly good deal – that’s also a one-off cost.

When you first go onto the Education website, you’ll need to verify your student identity using a service such as UniDays (UK), but afterwards, you can purchase the bundle online. To make it clear – Final Cut Pro alone costs £299.99 (same in USD) – and Logic X, Motion, Compressor and MainStage each have a separate price tag. You’ll also get the latest updates of these applications regularly, and they stay in your iCloud, for future downloads.

Final Cut Pro is a professional video editing software that has a flexible timeline, easy imports of media and has hundreds of different third-party plugins to enhance the experience. Logic X, used in advanced music production, lets you create music with a large library of sounds and tools.
