During the years, Apple has dedicated themselves to bring some good through the world. They make a great push for education with their Everyone Can Create curriculum, helping millions of customer’s health with the Apple Watch and its Health features, but they have dedicated themselves deeply to the great AIDS cause that has been developed by the (RED) foundation. Different campaigns, like the multiple red colored products, which have raised more than $22 million for HIV/AIDS programs across 13 years have been made to fight the illness in developing countries like Africa, but this year, the Cupertino-based company is trying something different.
From now through December 2nd 2019, Apple will donate $1 USD for every purchase made on the Apple retail stores, Apple.com and the Apple Store app. Also, everyone can donate directly to the (RED) foundation using Apple Pay, with no limit for donations.
This year, along the already existent Apple (RED) products, the iPhone 11 Product (RED) version and the (RED) silicon and leather cases are available for the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max, as well as the Apple Watch Series 5 compatible (RED) Sport Loop and Sport Band watchbands. Apple donates a part of the original cost of these products to the (RED) foundation, co-founded by U2 singer Paul David Hewson -better known as Bono-, and now they will be helping in a different way in order to create an AIDS-free world.
What do you think about the Product (RED) devices and accessories? Are you planning to get one in the near future? Will you donate to the AIDS fund? Let us know your opinion down below.
