YouTube TV has announced tonight that they have reached a temporary agreement with Sinclair Broadcasting Group that will enable YouTube TV to keep the regional FSN stations for a little while longer. The original agreement was supposed to end on February 29.

Part of the reason this could be done is that they want to make sure that customers are still able to watch the channels while YouTube TV and Sinclair negotiate a new contract.

This also means that along with YouTube TV getting the regional FSN stations for an extended amount of time, that the YES Network will also be on the live TV streaming service longer than expected too.

It is still unknown at this time how long the extension is and when it will expire. In the meantime, if you have already canceled your YouTube TV subscription, you can see what other options you have at your disposal for getting the regional FSN stations and YES Network outside of a traditional cable subscription.

YouTube TV is available for $50 a month and can be streamed on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV and Mac.
