As an incentive for its customers to use Apple Pay, Wells Fargo currently has a deal where if you use Apple Pay at its ATMs, they will give you an extra $5 in credit.
In an email to its customers, the company went into detail about this promotion:
“Your debit card is already in your digital wallet, so why not use it to easily get cash — and do more — at a Wells Fargo ATM? And now, when you access a Wells Fargo ATM using your debit card in your digital wallet for the first time, you’ll earn a $5 statement credit.”
To make this even better for Wells Fargo Apple Pay users (and new ones), the promotion expires on March 5, 2021, giving its customers an entire year to use this promotion and get some free money out of it as well.
There are some rules for this promotion, though. The first is that you must make an ATM transaction at a Wells Fargo ATM. Other rules are that business debit cards are not allowed, the most a customer can get is $5 and that the customer will have to wait at least 6-8 weeks for the $5 to be put into their bank account.
Now, $5 may not seem like a lot, but it can get you a free meal at McDonald’s and other fast-food restaurants too. If anything, it could be a good excuse to rent a movie on iTunes.
