Apple is offering upto $70 discount on some of their Beats Headphones.
The Beats Solo Pro with Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones is now available at $229.95 with a whopping $70 discount with the original price being $299.95. The Beats Solo Pro is available in six different colors – Black, Light Blue, Red, Gray, Ivory and from the Matte Collection, Dark Blue.
The Powerbeats Pro, which was recently updated with four new colors – Spring Yellow, Glacier Blue, Cloud Pink and Lava Red and it is now available at $199.95 instead of $249.95 ($50 discount). It is also available in other colors like Ivory, Moss, Navy and Black.
The Powerbeats High Performance Earphones are now available at $129.95 instead of $149.95 ($20 discount). It is available in three colors – Black, Red and White.
A reputable leaker, Jon Prosser from Front Page Tech had tweeted that Apple will eventually phase out Beats and replace it with their own products. Since Apple is provided discounts to some of the Beats Headphones, it indicates that Apple is selling their manufactured Beats Headphones quickly to clear stocks before they announce their own Over-The-ear Headphones in WWDC 2020. According to Prosser, Apple is also working on “AirPods X” which will mainly designed for sports, aiming at the Beats X which will probably be released around September or October.

Jon Prosser tweeted that Apple will be using the AirPods branding for their Over-The-ear headphones which is codenamed B515. It will be named “AirPods Studio” and will retail at $349. AirPods X which is codenamed B517 are also expected to launch in September or October of this year and will retail at around $200 and the end goal would be to phase out Beats and replace them with Apple’s own products.
