Apple today announced that its Q3 2020 (second calendar quarter of 2020) earnings call will be held at 2:00 p.m. Pacific time on Thursday, July 30. As in the past, the financial report will be dropped ahead of the call, which offers us a general idea of how well did Apple do in the quarter.
The company did not provide guidance for the quarter, nevertheless, analysts have forecasted that Apple will see its revenue drop from the record $53.8B reported in the year-ago quarter due to the impact COVID-19 has had on global sales, therefore, Apple is projected to report revenues of $51.4B on average.
Apple CEO Tim Cook and Apple CFO Luca Maestri are expected to answer questions on the call, and we expect Cook will also offer details of how Apple performed in the quarter.
