Last week, baseball returned and now the NBA has kicked off the restart of its season. Meanwhile, there are other TV shows and movies to stream as well.
TV:
- “Manifest”: The first two seasons of this TV series can be streamed on Hulu and the NBC app.
- “Blue Bloods”: This popular CBS Tom Selleck series’s first 10 seasons can be streamed on CBS All Access and the first nine seasons are available to stream on Hulu.
- “Jay Leno’s Garage”: He may be America’s funny man, but he also has a thing for cars. Four seasons of the series can be streamed on Peacock.
Movies:
- “Galaxy Quest”: This cult classic film that stars Tim Allen and Sigourney Weaver is available to stream on Prime Video and Tubi (with ads).
- “Dora and The Lost City of Gold”: This movie will be available to stream on Hulu on Monday, August 3.
- “Top Gun”: One of Tom Cruise’s most popular films is available to stream on Netflix. It could be a good reason to stream it since the sequel, “Top Gun: Maverick,” is set to be released in movie theaters on July 2, 2021.
Sports:
- 2020 NBA season restart marathon: This weekend is going to be a huge one for basketball fans. Â The games will start at 1 p.m. ET on Saturday, August 1, and will be airing all throughout the day live on ESPN.
- Boston Red Sox vs. New York Yankees (MLB): A historic rivalry will be brought back this weekend. This game will be played at 7:07 p.m. on Saturday, August 1, on FOX.
- Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 (NASCAR Cup Series): NASCAR has been around for a good portion of the pandemic and this weeknd is no different. The race will start at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday, August 2, on NBCSN.
