The 2020 13-inch MacBook Pro is the last laptop from Apple to switch into the Magic Keyboard, and thanks to that, it doesn’t prone to fail, unlike the Butterfly Keyboard.
With that in mind, I have decided to pick one up for college, among other things, and I thought it was worth the money.
Since the introduction of the Touch Bar in 2016, Apple has kept the design of the MacBook Pro models roughly the same. The height and width of the 2020 13-inch MacBook Pro are relatively identical when compared to its predecessors.
While the built-in is still one of the best on the market and that it covers a wider color gamut than most competitors. however, it’s still a bit weak compared to other higher resolution displays (due to thinner bezels).
As far as the keyboard is concerned, there is no doubt that this is the finest keyboard I have ever used. It offers a great typing experience, it’s not blatant, and the 1mm keystroke is enough to satisfy people, while still maintaining firmness and stability.
Battery-wise, you can easily get up to nine hours of usage without any problems, literally. The 13-inch MacBook Pro comes with a very powerful 61W USB-C power adapter that can charge the laptop to 70% in one-hour and fully-charge the laptop in one-hour and 50 minutes.
In case you are not aware of this, the 2020 13-inch MacBook Pro is not one but two different products. You can either get the one that’s less powerful and with two Thunderbolt ports or the one with four Thunderbolt ports but also offers outstanding performance.
Overall, the 13-inch MacBook Pro is an excellent machine for pro users and average users alike. It has pretty much everything you need, whether that’s a vivid display, a flawless keyboard, or even a sustainable battery, it’s got you covered.
You can purchase the 13-inch MacBook Pro through Apple’s online storefront or its Refurbished Store website if you want a cheaper model. A new 13-inch MacBook Pro starts at $1,299, whereas a certified refurbished base-level 13-inch MacBook Pro will only cost you $1,099.
