With today’s update of iOS 13.7, Apple decided to release the Exposure Notification API to the public.
This new addition brings the ability to enable these notifications to users without them downloading any other extra app from public health authorities.
Ever since Apple and Google teamed up to develop this API, we have been waiting for it to be released without the dependance of another application, and now we gar a more robust version of it from what we got in iOS 13.5.
Unfortunately, this feature is not yet available to its full extent in most of the regions, and only in select states in America, so the rest of the world will have to wait a little bit more until other public health organizations enable this functionality.
