Recently, Apple has been working on the iPad Pro line-up that brings the boxy-design and Face-ID. The design of the Pro line-up is one of the significant visual changes that differentiate it from the Air or Mini Line-Up.

The iPad Air lies in the middle of the family and indeed needed an update to match the Pro models. With the new leaks, we have found that the iPad Air will be having thinner bezels and a similar design to the iPad Pro but with a catch.

As you can see, the Touch ID is still present but has a different style of unlocking the iPad. On these versions, the fingerprint sensor has not been replaced with Face ID, which is a costlier change. That is why Face ID is only present in Apple’s on the iPad Pro models.

It is undoubtedly an excellent change for the iPad Users as they will be able to have a new feel to the iPad Air 4. The iPad Air was last updated with a new model in March 2019 but retained the same overall look like the iPad Air 2 with the Apple’s A12 Bionic chip, a more massive 10.5-inch Retina Display, and Apple Pencil support.

The iPad Air 4 refresh from this year will be shipping with thinner bezels and will have nearly an 11 inches screen. The cost is unknown, and as per Jon Prosser, we might be seeing the iPad on September 7 alongside the Apple Watch Series 6.
