Apple had released a new beta update for Apple Music on Android a few days back. This update was a significant one, as it included a design overhaul & a ton of new features including a new “Listen New” Tab, Autoplay, and Story Sharing similar to iOS 14. Read more about the features of the New Apple Music Beta here.

While Apple has added features from Apple Music on iOS 14 on Android, it has also added new Apple Music Widgets, which look very similar to the ones on iOS 14, discovered by Appleosophy Editor Pururaj Dutta. The best part is, they are resizeable so you can customize it the way it suits you.

To add the new Widget, Long Press on an empty area of your Home Screen, and Tap on Widgets. If you have the Apple Music App Installed, you’ll see the Widget listed. There are two options for Widgets, one with the Player (4×2) and one with the Music Cover Artwork (3×2), both being resizeable.

The New Widgets look very clean and are customizable.

If you have an Android device, be sure to install the Apple Music Beta on your phone. If the beta program is full, use this link to enroll yourself and wait for a couple of minutes until you can download the beta from the Play Store.
