Gaming and streaming will have an entirely new meaning when the Apple TV app comes to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
The Apple TV app, which enables users to manage and watch their favorite TV shows and movies from a single app, is set to be launching on the PS4 and PS5 starting on November 12, according to 9to5Mac.
Users will be able to watch content from streaming services, view their purchased content from iTunes, subscribe to Apple TV+ and get access to Apple TV Channels too.
The same day the app arrives on the PlayStation, it will also be on the PS5’s release day.
9to5Mac has also reported that there is apparently an Apple TV app being created for XBOX gaming consoles, which is rumored to be released on November 10.
Once the Apple TV app arrives on the PlayStation and XBOX, the app will be available on most Apple devices, smart TVs, streaming sticks and other devices and gaming consoles.
The app will be a free download and Apple TV+ costs $4.99 a month.
